Art teacher chic. This endearingly crafty blazer is both comfortable and stylish, and why wouldn't it be considering who designed it - no other that Oscar de la Renta for Balmain. In a unique wool fabric with gorgeous buttons. This jacket also has a slight shoulder pad to ensure a sophisticate silhouette. Super comfortable and completely elegant.
Fab fact: Oh Oscar, he really was the purveyor of proper American style. Starting his career with Cristóbal Balenciaga and going on to work for Balmain, Lanvin, Elizabeth Arden and finally Jane Derby. The king of the quote, one of my favourite sayings by him is “I don't really know how to do casual clothes” (neither). He has been especially known for dressing many of the chicest first ladies, and now that first ladies are aspirational again, you can too!
